Hey Chef Hog fans we will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week we will re-open Thursday for lunch and dinner.
Just want to give a shoutout to everyone who participated, volunteered, and attended Chef Hog’s first Annual Oktoberfest! What a wonderful turnout by our community! A special shoutout to Tuacahn and all of their management that took the time to make this happen, the city of Ivins, Mayor Hart, Santa Clara- Ivins Police Department, Washington county sheriffs department, Cherry Creek Media as well as all of our other sponsors. And a huge thank you to our guest Chefs; Chef Cory Pulsifer, Chef Brian Pulsifer and Chef Elijah from The Ledges, and our own Executive Sous Chef Pedro and Chef Ashleigh. And all of our employees that worked hundreds of hours to make this happen. We expected a lot of people but at 2 PM it was in the thousands! We also learned a lot from this first event, and will definitely make some changes for the future ones. If anybody has pictures we would love you to share them on our page. The first annual Chef Hog Oktoberfest is this Saturday October 20th at Tuacahn Center for the Arts from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Due to popular demand we have added a few more vendor booth spaces and are looking to feature high-end Artisans Art products. Chef Hog’s Café at Tuacahn is now hiring for the Fall/Winter Season. We are looking for 2-3 part-time or possible people for a P.M. Line cook/sous chef and 2-3 PM Cashiers. Wages will be discussed in the interview and will be based on experience and prior job references. We are looking to complement our current staff as we enter a new set of productions and concerts at Tuacahn Center of the Arts as well as holiday dinners. All staff members are included in tip shares based on hours worked. We are looking for individuals who are committed to excellence in customer service and willing to do what it takes to maintain our 5 star image. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to get involved in a company that has successfully completed its first theatre season at Tuacahn and is position to grow with the future Government contract for the next 5 years and future planned events within the café and off-site Food Truck events. Apply in person at the Café located at the Tuacahn Amphitheater, 1100 Tuachan Dr; Ivins , Utah Monday and Tuesday between 1:30 and 4:00. Where do I begin? Today has been a very special day for us, especially Jeff. Jeff has mentioned to me in the past, and more than once, what an awesome dream it would be to be able to provide food for firefighters while they are out battling a fire. Well today his dream has been fulfilled. With tremendous pride and honor,Jeff signed a contract with the Forestry,Fire and State Lands Department! Here he is with Earl Levanger, with Southwest Area Logistics just after signing the contract. The contract is for central and southern Utah:)Yep Chef Hog is going to be cooking for the wildland firefighters!🙏 I could not be more proud of Jeff!!! As his wife, I have sat back and watched him work tirelessly and passionately in everything he does! He is the most compassionate, giving person I have ever met! Good things happen to good people. I truly believe your karma has come back around😇 You sooo deserve what has transpired today Jeff Germain❤️. I could not be more proud of you!😘😻😎I love you so much!
